Normally at 2-5, your season would be basically over, with little to no chance of getting into the playoffs.
But luckily for the Redskins, the best team in the NFC East this year is just 4-4, the Dallas Cowboys.
In fact, if you remember just last year, the Redskins were 3-6 by week 10 before they turned it all around and won seven straight on their way to the division crown.
Now, I'm not saying expect the same type of magical seven game winning streak, but I am saying its possible.
With the New York Giants at 2-6 and the Philadelphia Eagles at 3-5, the Redskins slow start isn't as crippling as it normally would be any other year.
In fact the Redskins have improved each game, not by much, but we can all agree the team has progressively gotten better since week one. (Remember that home-opener debacle against Philly? Oh that was embarrassing to say the least).
Seven out of the remaining nine games are very winnable as the other teams also have a .500 or below record. All we have to do is play to our true potential and we can salvage this season.
So with nine more games left, I ask that you don't give up just yet on the Redskins, they still have a chance.
