New Washington Redskins general manager Scot McLoughan already signed one of his former draft picks from his days with the 49ers (Ricky Jean Francois, 2009), and now it looks like he's targeting a player that he had a hand in drafting during his time with the Seattle Seahawks.
Per Mike Jones of the Washington Post, "general manager Scot McCloughan once again has reached into his past as he and the Redskins will host former Seattle Seahawks safety Jeron Johnson for a free agent visit this Sunday and Monday, according to a person with knowledge of the situation."
Washington is looking for help at safety after declining to re-sign strong safety Brandon Meriweather and seeing free safety Ryan Clark opt for retirement.
Johnson, 26, will have dinner with members of the Redskins organization Sunday, before spend most of Monday at Redskins Park.
