The Washington Redskins have been uncharacteristically quiet this free agency period, but they did sign former Bears defensive tackle Stephen Paea to a four-year, $21 million deal.
Paea recorded six sacks and showed flashes of being a dominant force last season. The Redskins think he will be even better in the penetrating, one-gap 4-3 scheme they run, rather than the 3-4 front the Bears are expected to use in 2015.
Paea has dealt with numerous injuries throughout his four-year career, but played in all 16 games for the first time in 2014.
