After Kirk Cousins' disastrous night last Thursday against the New York Giants, a vocal sect of Washington Redskins fans have once again been clamoring for the return of Robert Griffin III.
Per an Associated Press report, "the Washington Redskins quarterback joined his teammates for stretching Saturday, but he left once the players split up to begin their drills. Nevertheless, it was his first time he has been at a practice when reporters were present since he dislocated his left ankle in the season opener. He was wearing cleats instead of a walking boot."
No actual timetable has been set for Griffin's return, with most accounts indicating that he won't be back for several weeks. Regardless, head coach Jay Gruden did tell reporters that Griffin is "making progress."
What that actually means is still up for interpretation.
