Injuries once again threw a wrench into Washington's quarterback situation, but this time Robert Griffin III didn't give fans too much to complain about.
While Griffin was better than expected, the Redskins defense had no answer for Giants WR Odell Beckham, who scored three touchdowns to lift his team to victory.
Turning Point:
Beckham iced the game with his third touchdown catch, which extended New York's lead from 17-13 to 24-13 with 4:41 remaining.
Giants MVP:
No surprises here...Odell Beckham Jr. has been absolutely immense for the Giants in recent weeks, and he put together his best game of the season so far against Washington today. Beckham finished with 143 yards and three touchdowns on 12 catches, and while he also lost a fumble today, he was the reason the Giants won this game.
Stat of the Day:
This was the first time Robert Griffin III threw more touchdowns than interceptions since December 1, 2013...a 24-17 loss to the New York Giants.
What's Next?
The Giants will travel to St. Louis looking for their third straight win, and the Redskins will host the Eagles next Saturday hoping to put a dent in their rivals' playoff chances.
