1) Chicago Blackhawks– A few costly defensive lapses ended Chicago’s season in round 2 last year. (Re) enter Brian Campbell another veteran who alongside Brent Seakbrook and Duncan Keith should help on the blue line. Chicago still has an incredible arsenal with Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews, and improving their salary cap situation (now $2.4M under) by offloading Bryan Bickel, Teuvo Teravainen and Andrew Shaw, could help should the Blackhawks need to tweak things near the deadline. The model franchise of the decade is just that for a reason.
2) Nashville Predators– The most visible move of the summer was no doubt Nashville acquiring PK Subban from Montreal for Shea Weber.
