The Washington Capitals have announced that they have recalled forward Stanislav Galiev from the Hershey Bears. He was with the Bears for a 14-day maximum conditioning stint. They have recalled him on the 10th day of the stint. More from the press release:
Galiev appeared in five games with Hershey (AHL) this season and scored three goals. The 6’2”, 197-pound forward made his AHL season debut on Nov. 6 at Lehigh Valley and scored a goal in the first period. On Nov. 7 against St. John’s, Galiev scored two goals, including a goal in the shootout, and was named the game’s first star.
