The Washington Capitals bounced back from Saturday’s loss and finally got over their afternoon game woes with a 4-3 win over the New Jersey Devils at Capital One Arena.

The first 20 minutes were more of the same from the day before as the Caps looked sluggish. Nick Jensen was called for high sticking at 8:15, putting the Devils on the power play. On the attack, Andreas Johnsson scored the power play goal at 9:35 to put the Devils up 1-0.

1-0 would be the score after 20 with the Caps leading in shots 11-10.
