After another season without the Stanley Cup, the Washington Capitals likely won’t be making any huge changes. However, general manager Brian MacLellan hasn’t ruled out trades. And, let’s be honest, GMBM’s best work (the T.J. Oshie trade) came on the trade market.
The Caps must address their depth and might need a little bit of a roster shakeup. However, any move that is made likely requires another trade to be made to replace who was just traded. This makes trading complicated, but certainly not impossible, for the Capitals.
Each NHL team has at least one player the Caps should kick the tires on.
