Washington Capitals: Holtby Stellar In 2-1 Shootout Win Over Bruins

The Washington Capitals had a sluggish first period with just five shots on goal to come back and beat the Boston Bruins 2-1 in a shootout. The Caps were led by Braden Holtby (23 saves in two periods plus overtime) and Alex Ovechkin. Ovechkin scored the game-tying goal with just 2:34 remaining. The Caps held on in three-on-three overtime to advance to a shootout. T.J. Oshie and Evgeny Kuznetsov made sure the Caps went home winners with shootout goals.
