The Washington Capitals are a popular team in the Maryland, DC and Virginia area. One would think they’d get recognized by the police. Apparently, a Virginia police officer doesn’t know who Justin Williams is because he got a speeding ticket. Come on, you don’t give a speeding ticket to Mr. Game 7.
To be fair to Williams, who among us hasn’t gotten a speeding ticket in Virginia? Virginia cops are notorious for being very strict about the speed limit. Williams found this out the hard way and will have to pay a price for his sin.
