Washington Capitals Draft Lucas Johansen

With the 28th pick in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft, the Caps have selected defenseman Lucas Johansen of the Kelowna Rockets (and Ryan Johansen's little brother).

He was very good defensively and he has the offensive ability. He can make the little dish pass and has good hands. He won't be as big as his brother, but he's still young and growing.

Our SBN pals over at The Cannon had this to say about Johansen:

He's a two-way defenseman who can do a little bit of everything, and uses his smooth skating to get the job done.
