Nearing the end, here’s forward Tom Wilson.
Wilson returned for his second NHL season cloaked in medical mystery, the product of a broken ankle suffered by what the Capitals merely called “a fall.” The surgery to repair his fractured fibula and subsequent rehabilitation curbed Wilson’s summer training, sending him scrambling to play catch up once training camp began.
