122 - Number of points scored by Capitals’ defensemen so far this season, the highest total in the League. Caps’ blueliners have contributed 27 goals and 95 assists this year, including another helper by Dmitry Orlov on the game’s lone tally last night.
They’re led, unsurprisingly, by John Carlson, whose 42 points (10 goals, 32 assists) rank third among all NHL defensemen behind Victor Hedman (44) and Adam Fox (47). He’s not carrying the load alone, though, as four other blueliners - Justin Schultz, Brenden Dillon, Dmitry Orlov and Nick Jensen - have hit double-digits in points.
