2 - Number of overtime goals scored by Brooks Orpik in the playoffs over the course of his career, one of three active defensemen and one of just seven in NHL history to have at least that many. Orpik has scored just four postseason goals in his 16-year career, but three of them have been game-winners - two of which have come in his last six postseason appearances, because he’s just that clutch.

With his goal on Saturday night, Orpik also became the oldest defenseman in NHL history to score an overtime winner at 38 years, 199 days - surpassing the previous mark set back in 2008 by Minnesota’s Keith Carney (38 years, 68 days) - and the oldest Caps’ player to do so, surpassing then 35-year-old Justin Williams and his Game 5 winner against Toronto back in 2017.
