Oshie and Justin Williams have transformed the top-six unit into a scoring machine, the swap of Brooks Laich for Daniel Winnik has created one of the best fourth lines in the NHL and the decision to ride the hot hand of goaltender Braden Holtby has produced the only active goaltender to have back-to-back 41-win seasons.
None of the major power rankings have them ranked worse than the second best team in the league and they are currently the oddsmakers’ favorite to win the Stanley Cup.
