Stingrays Week 9 Recap: Stuck in Fourth

The Stingrays got scoring from their normal sources, Rob Flick and John Parker, as they powered past the Swamp Rabbits for a 6-3 win. Parker and Patrick Gaul scored in the first, giving South Carolina enough of a lead to stay ahead of Greenville. Paul Zanette’s eighth of the year for Greenville pulled them back within one, but Dylan Margonari regifted the two-goal lead later in the second.

The Stingrays limited the Swamp Rabbits to four shots in the third, two of which went in past Parker Milner. South Carolina countered with 15 shots and three goals: Parker’s second of the game, Alex Gacek’s third point, and Flick’s third point.
