Stingrays Force Game 7 in Kelly Cup Finals with Thrilling 4-1 Victory

North Charleston, S.C. – The South Carolina Stingrays (15-11) buried the Allen Americans (15-9) 4-1 in Game 6 of the Kelly Cup Finals at the North Charleston Coliseum Wednesday night to force a decisive Game 7 on Sunday, June 14 at 5:05 p.m. ET in Allen, Texas. The best-of-seven series is tied 3-3.

Stingrays defenseman Marcus Perrier broke open the scoring 8:59 into the first period redirecting a shot from defenseman Wade Epp between the legs of Americans netminder Riley Gill (L, 27 saves on 31 shots). Forward Rob Bellamy picked up the second assist.

Forward Joe Devin gave the Stingrays a 2-0 lead at 11:47 of the second period catching a pass from forward Caleb Herbert and ripping a shot past Gill from the left-wing faceoff circle.
