Sgarbossa Scores Teddy Bear Toss Goal!

HERSHEY, Pa — The Hershey Bears and their fans seemed to once again broke their own record at their annual teddy bear toss as stuffed animals were thrown onto the ice following the first Hershey goal.

Mike Sgarbossa scored with 5:15 left in the first period to tie the game vs the Providence Bruins. The teddy bear toss goal came after a false start roughly two minutes earlier. Chase Priskie fired a shot that ran off the post with 7:31 remaining in the opening frame. When the shot hit iron, one section started throwing teddy bears, only to be publicly called out.
