Alexander Semin was bought out by the Carolina Hurricanes. He then cleared waivers and became a UFA (Unrestricted Free Agent). This means the Caps would not have to give anything to the Canes if we were to sign him. Some people would like to see him return. Other people, such as my cousin said, “Hell no!” when they heard the news.
