Patrick Kane booed, John Scott applauded on NHL all-star weekend's fun-loving first night

Predators fans have had enough of Blackhawks right wing Patrick Kane. Before the public address announcer at Bridgestone Arena even was able to say Kane’s name as he introduced him prior to the skills competition during the NHL’s all-star weekend, the Nashville fans rained down a cascade of boos. John Scott, the St. John’s IceCaps player who was asked by the NHL not to play in the All-Star Game after being voted a captain of the West team by the fans, apparently loved every second of it.

Scott, the rest of the all-stars and the fans seemed to enjoy a lot of the night’s festivities, including this special moment between father and daughter:
