The baseball and hockey worlds collided at Game 4 of the National League Division Series when the Washington Nationals brought in Alex Ovechkin to throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
The Capitals winger, a southpaw, put it over the plate and outfielder Adam Eaton caught it:

Ovechkin is becoming a familiar face at the ballpark. He also partied at Nationals Park back in June 2018 mere days after winning the Stanley Cup.
