Marcus Johansson misses morning skate with illness

Center Marcus Johansson missed Monday’s morning skate with an illness, but Capitals Coach Barry Trotz said Johansson is probable for Washington’s game against the Arizona Coyotes.

“We kept him at home,” Trotz said. “We’ll see. We expect him to show up tonight and be ready to go. He just felt a little under the weather this morning. We gave him some meds. We’ll see how he is later today.”

If Johansson can’t play, Mike Richards would center the third line, as he did for the four games that Johansson missed with an upper-body injury after the all-star break.
