Hershey Bears Complete Epic Comeback In 6-5 OT Win

On Saturday night, the Hershey Bears did the unthinkable and completed an epic comeback in a 6-5 overtime victory.

Under 25 minutes remained in a game that looked all but over, with the Bears facing a fourth straight defeat in their first game of the New Year. 5-1 was the score, in favor of the streaking Binghamton Senators, who were on a run of five straight wins. It didn’t seem like there was any chance of a victory for the Bears on this night.

Bears’ goaltender Justin Peters, who you should recognize as a member of the Washington Capitals from last season, started the game for Hershey.
