Ded Moroz, also known as Grandfather Frost, is in attendance at tonight’s Caps vs. Pens matchup in order to cheer for the Russian born Washington Capitals. Ded Moroz is essentially the Santa Claus or Father Christmas of Russia, and one of our favorite super fans dressed up for tonight’s game in an effort to delight the Caps’ Russian players.
Charlie McManus hopes they’ll see him down along the glass during warm-ups and know that the fans appreciate them, and respect their culture. He wore the costume last year, but wasn’t able to catch the attention of the players.
