Dates, starting time, television coverage of the second round, which begins Thursday
The Washington Capitals will open the Eastern Conference Semifinals of the Stanley Cup Playoffs against the New York Rangers at 7:30 p.m. Thursday night in New York at Madison Square Garden.
The Caps will play Games 1 and 2 on the road (including a matinee on Saturday May 2), then head home to Verizon Center for Games 3 and 4, which will be Monday, May 4 and Wednesday, May 6. If necessary, Game 5 will be played May 8 in New York, Game 6 on May 12 in D.
