The Caps traded Matt Niskanen to the Flyers for Radko Gudas, as part of an effort to free up salary.
Niskanen came to the Caps from the Penguins with Brooks Orpik to bolster their defense. It won them a Stanley Cup. He’ll forever be linked to that.
