The Washington Capitals have been hit hard by injuries in recent weeks, but it appears their lineup won’t get any more depleted, as Coach Barry Trotz said Andre Burakovsky, Tom Wilson and Michael Latta are all expected to play against the Vancouver Canucks on Thursday.
“That’s a good sign for us,” Trotz said.
Latta was a late scratch on Sunday night with an arm injury, and Burakovsky said he got hurt when he crashed into the boards awkwardly against the Ottawa Senators. Both fully participated in practice on Tuesday. Tom Wilson did not participate because of a lower-body injury sustained Sunday, but was on the ice before practice.
