The Caps kicked off the 2021-22 season Wednesday with fun and games outside Capital One Arena, but unlike other years, the players couldn’t attend because they were taking precautions due to covid-19.
While the red carpet had cardboard cutouts of the players, fans were greeted by former Caps defenseman Karl Alzner, who posed for photos and spent time with the red-rocking crowd.
