Tonight the MSE Foundation hosted an auction as part of the Hockey Fights Cancer Night festivities. The auction featured special autographed Jerseys, Sticks, Pucks, and Masks from Capitals players and bidding concluded at the start of the 3rd period of tonight’s game. The announced grand total raised in the auction was an astonishing $108,780. The success is likely due in part to the new auction bidding app the Foundation utilized for the first time, which allowed the auction to begin at Noon today and accept bids from people who were not in attendance at the game.
