On Monday, The Laughlin Family Foundation, which raises money to help fight rare cancers, held its second annual Golf “FORE” Rare Cancers Celebrity Golf Tournament at Crofton Country Club. Several Washington Capitals alumni members participated, including Braden Holtby, Peter Bondra, Karl Alzner, Rod Langway,Brent Johnson, and Ken Sabourin. One event had them driving marshmallows as far as they could, with the furthest winning a prize. Caps Outsider spent the entire afternoon on this.
In the end, after about a hundred participants took a swing, NASCAR driver Ryan Ellis, took the top prize.
