Plus: The Caps probably played their best game in weeks if not a full month, with a complete two-way game for almost a full 60 minutes. This was the team we saw for the first 10-15 games before they started leaking defensively. Hopefully, this is the start of the Caps getting back to that game where they were so successful to start the season.
Minus: It’s hard to find anything to be upset about. If you wanted to get nitpicky, there was a stretch at end the second period where the Panthers were staying in the Caps zone, firing off a couple high danger chances.
