Capitals vs. Lightning Game One Recap: Bolts Bested by Beagle and the Caps

After vanquishing Columbus and Pittsburgh in consecutive series The Tampa Lightning played host to Washington. The Capitals rode a strong offensive outing from their entire lineup to a 4 to 2 victory.

Here’s Friday night's Plus/Minus:

Plus: Washington came into Amalie Arena and put down a statement in Game One.

Minus: Alex Chiasson was the weakest link amongst the forwards. Two minor penalties including one of the inexcusable variety that led directly to a Lightning tally.
