The Washington Capitals got a huge 5-3 win tonight against the visiting Winnipeg Jets thanks to a much-needed huge night from their second forward line. Their second forward line had been struggling a bit recently. They exploded out of their struggles tonight as wings Marcus Johansson and Justin Williams and center Evgeny Kuznetsov decided they weren’t going to take it anymore. They combined for six points and two goals. Kuznetsov picked up three points (including a goal), Johansson picked up two assists, and Williams got a goal in the first 72 seconds of the game.
