Well, there were twelve total shots in the second period, and the Capitals' best scoring chance was a Michael Latta breakaway. Latta got stonewalled by Jaroslav Halak, which are words that are still tattooed on my brain stem.

That was until Andre Burakovsky put one back on Halak's doorstep to make it 2-1 Capitals at the end of the second period.
