(Caps Outsider)
Tis’ the season to be jolly, and the Capitals brought joy to patients at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital on Monday.
The players gave Capitals Kids Club kits to the patients that were donated by fans through the team’s “Kids Club kit donation program.” As part of the activities, players took photos with patients and their families as part of the Flashes of Hope photo shoot. Flashes of Hope is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to raise money for pediatric cancer research and change the way children with cancer and other life-threatening conditions see themselves through photography.
