ARLINGTON, Va. – The Washington Capitals will officially open their 2016-17 NHL training camp on Friday, Sept. 23, at Kettler Capitals Iceplex in Arlington, Va.
All Capitals players, coaches and management will be available to the media. There are three practice sessions scheduled that day (Group White at 9:30 a.m., Group Red at 11 a.m. and Group Blue at 12:30 p.m.). Players will be available to the media at the conclusion of their on- and off-ice sessions. The complete training camp schedule and roster will be announced at a later date. Similar to previous years, Kettler Capitals Iceplex will be closed to the media on Thursday, Sept.
