T.J. Oshie scored twice in the Washington Capitals 3-2 win over the Boston Bruins before John Carlson netted the game-winning goal in the third period just minutes after the Bruins tied it.
Oshie not only scored twice, he scored those two goals in the span of 3:30 and while the first one was a slam dunk, the second one could qualify as goal of the year.
First let’s break down goal number one. With the Caps on the power play, Oshie was wide open in front of the net and John Carlson found him.
