The 18-year-old is expected to attend rookie camp in September before returning to his overseas club, the Zurich Lions of the Swiss-A League.
Siegenthaler becomes the first member of Washington’s four-man draft class to sign his entry-level deal. The terms were not immediately disclosed by the team.
Late last month at BB&T Center in Sunrise, Fla., left without a second-round pick thanks to the deadline acquisition of Curtis Glencross from Calgary, the Capitals valued Siegenthaler enough to broker a deal with the New York Rangers, swapping No.
