ARLINGTON, Va. – The Washington Capitals have signed forwards Carter Camper and Sean Collins and defensemen Mike Moore and Aaron Ness to one-year, two-way contracts, senior vice president and general manager Brian MacLellan announced today.
Camper, 26, has scored one goal in three career NHL games with the Boston Bruins. The 5’9”, 176-pound forward recorded 52 points (15 goals, 37 assists) and 16 penalty minutes in 75 games with Binghamton (AHL) in 2014-15. Camper finished the season ranked second among Senators skaters in assists, fourth in points and sixth in goals. The Cleveland native has earned 200 points (56g, 144a) in 264 career AHL games with Providence, Springfield and Binghamton.
