ARLINGTON, Va. – The Washington Capitals have recalled forward Zach Sill from the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League (AHL), senior vice president and general manager Brian MacLellan announced today.
Sill, 27, has scored one goal in nine games with the Capitals this season. He made his Capitals debut on Dec. 20 against Buffalo and scored his first Capitals goal on Jan. 10 against Ottawa. Sill has registered five points (two goals, three assists) and 98 penalty minutes in 92 career NHL games with Pittsburgh, Toronto and Washington. He was signed by Washington as a free agent on July 16, 2015.
