Capitals Recall Carey and Carrick from Hershey; Re-assign Ness and Sill

ARLINGTON, Va. – The Washington Capitals have recalled forward Paul Carey and defenseman Connor Carrick from the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League (AHL) and re-assigned forward Zach Sill and defenseman Aaron Ness to Hershey, senior vice president and general manager Brian MacLellan announced today.

Carey, 27, has played in two games with the Capitals this season and has earned one assist in 24 career NHL games with Washington and Colorado. The 6’1”, 200-pound forward made his NHL debut on March 12, 2014, vs. Chicago and earned his first NHL point with an assist on Feb.
