Capitals Recall Aaron Ness from Hershey

ARLINGTON, Va. – The Washington Capitals have recalled defenseman Aaron Ness from the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League (AHL), senior vice president and general manager Brian MacLellan announced today.

Ness, 25, has tallied two assists in eight games with the Capitals this season. He made his Capitals debut on Jan. 2 at Columbus and earned his first Capitals point with an assist on Jan. 5 at Boston. The Roseau, Minn., native played in a career-high 20 games with the Islanders during the 2013-14 season and scored his first NHL goal on Nov.
