Capitals Re-Sign Charlie Lindgren

The Caps announced today that they have re-signed Charlie Lindgren to a new, three-year, $9M contract. Lindgren makes up the other half of the team’s highly successful goaltending duo; he and Logan Thompson, who signed his own six-year deal at the end of January, have combined for 38 wins, three shutouts, and a save percentage of .910.

ARLINGTON, Va. – The Washington Capitals have re-signed goaltender Charlie Lindgren to a three-year, $9 million contract extension, senior vice president and general manager Chris Patrick announced today. Lindgren’s contract will carry an average annual value of $3 million.
