It is a busy Monday for the Caps who, on the heels of announcing the re-signing of forward Shane Gersich, announced the re-signing of forward Brian Pinho. His new deal, like Gersich’s, is a one-year/two-way contract. From the team’s announcement:
The Washington Capitals have re-signed forward Brian Pinho to a one-year, two-way contract ($700,000/$100,000), senior vice president and general manager Brian MacLellan announced today.
Pinho, 24, recorded 12 points (4g, 8a) in 73 regular season games and two points (1g, 1a) in eight playoffs games with the Hershey Bears (AHL) this season, his first professional season.
