Capitals Re-assign Ness and Sill to Hershey

ARLINGTON, Va. – The Washington Capitals have re-assigned defenseman Aaron Ness and forward Zach Sill to the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League (AHL), senior vice president and general manager Brian MacLellan announced today.

Ness, 25, appeared in eight games with the Capitals this season and tallied two assists. He made his Capitals debut on Jan. 2 at Columbus and earned his first Capitals point with an assist on Jan. 5 at Boston. The Roseau, Minn., native played in a career-high 20 games with the Islanders during the 2013-14 season and scored his first NHL goal on Nov.
