ARLINGTON, Va. – The Washington Capitals have re-assigned forward Stanislav Galiev to the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League (AHL) for conditioning purposes, senior vice president and general manager Brian MacLellan announced today.
Galiev, 23, played in two games with the Capitals this season and earned his first NHL assist on Oct. 15 against Chicago. Last season, Galiev made his NHL debut on April 8 against Boston and scored his first NHL goal on April 11 against the Rangers. The Moscow native has registered two points (one goal, one assist) in four NHL games.
