This Saturday in Baltimore, the United States Military Academy (USMA) and United States Naval Academy (USNA) will meet in the 117th Army-Navy Football game. It’s an important annual tradition that embodies the spirit of the inter-service rivalry. Following last night’s OT winner over the Buffalo Sabres, the Capitals hosted their own version of the Army-Navy rivalry at Verizon Center, in the form of a pick-up hockey game.
Featuring primarily active military players from the surrounding region, the two teams were constructed to include other branches of the service as well.
