Capitals' fourth line still searching for consistency

Chandler Stephenson has been with the Washington Capitals for less than two weeks, making his NHL debut against the Chicago Blackhawks and maintaining his grip on the fourth-line center job since then. He’s taken up residence in a hotel near Kettler Capitals Iceplex in Arlington, still uneasy about getting more clothes because he could be reassigned to the minors at any moment.

“He’s playing in the NHL for the first time and having fun,” forward Brooks Laich said. “I mean, every day has got to be the best day of his life ever. I remember those days, and I still feel it.
