The Washington Capitals have announced their 64-man roster and schedule for training camp, which begins with their off-ice testing Thursday and continues with the first on-ice session Friday. For the first two practice days, the roster will be split up into three squads, but afterward will be adjusted into different groups daily, named after Capitals legends.
Check back later for position-by-position previews of the incoming crop, but for now the relevant, bare-bones information is below. The preseason opener comes Monday at home against Carolina.
